FUNDRAISING FEASIBILITY STUDIES
- What is the potential of your school community to support a fundraising campaign and to raise your target amount?
- How does the school community feel about the Development Plan and priorities?
- Who are the individuals most likely to inspire others to give and to ensure fundraising success?
With Ian’s personal approach, his complete understanding of the school development process and experience with fundraising feasibility studies, he provides the guidance and assistance to plan and write a comprehensive Case for Support.
Ian then tests this case by sharing it’s aims with key individuals from within the school community; either face to face or remotely as the need has presented itself during the past year. To be able to provide the best possible advice and outcome, Ian will lead the fundraising feasibility study personally, so that he is directly informed and can provide the most accurate recommendations.
This process often leads to his on-going guidance on fundraising strategy and campaign management. Ian will identify the strengths and weaknesses of a community that may affect a campaign, identify the individuals who are most suited to lead a campaign and determine the anticipated fundraising target.
Conducting feasibility studies has been a major focus of Ian’s work in recent times owing to his personal approach, his relevant experience as a Development Director and his flexibility with individual school needs and budgets.
“Everyone involved in the study was most impressed with the way Ian handled the interviews. He pushed on through a very heavy schedule of meetings and produced a report of invaluable insights and recommendations.”
Jenny Hipwell, Development Director, Twyford School, Hampshire
“It was during our first event together where it became apparent that I was dealing with a world class, true professional in his field. What’s impressive is that Ian adds extra value by considering every aspect from the school’s admissions process and student welfare to a potential donor’s first encounter, through the development and potential fundraising phase. Through his mentoring, I was fortunate to learn the important steps in relationship building and fundraising, especially in the international environment”.
