MENTORING AND COACHING
When the individual is new to development or is having trouble finding their way, Ian has found that the introduction of a one to one mentor can have a positive and productive effect. In particular, coaching for school leaders includes guidance on how to ask for major gifts.
Having someone with an independent and objective view along with development experience, encourages an open dialogue about current challenges, ideas and aspirations. Ian’s coaching for school leaders can support the cultivation of new answers to perennial problems and offer the support and ideas required to enable the person to grow into a more rounded and experienced development professional.
Over the years, Ian has mentored a number of Heads, Governors and Development Directors, providing them with an experienced outlook on their current challenges – not only being someone who they can confide in, but also being a guiding hand in the way forward.
