Another Impact of the School Development Programme
As part of an overall look at the School development plan, we identified the school’s strengths and uniqueness: resulting in the creation of the first school-based golf academy in Ireland – based in Belfast amongst some of the best Northern Ireland courses.
Following a proven model and a programme for all students, it has begun with gusto and already attracted some of the best junior golfers from Ireland. The marketing strategy and the school’s reputation has been further enhanced in a short space of time as a result.
At the same time, the enthusiasm of a small group of volunteer parents has led a development campaign that has already in less than one year, seen substantial donations towards other projects that are having an immediate impact on all students. Success breeds success and people give to success! This school is small in numbers but big on reputation and the combined efforts of a willing group of parents, the governors, the Head, senior staff (and with a level of guidance!), is adding so much More to what the school is offering.
