School Development Management – the viable option!
Not every independent school, international school or state school can afford the luxury of a Development Director; a senior management salary for someone expected to raise the sums of money needed to make a major difference.
Nor do they have a constituency ready and willing and able to give at significant levels. All schools can improve in many areas but are often restricted by a lack of funds.
A development office can be a reality on a different scale without the high up front costs and my model of the school engaging independent development management is proving to be a viable and cost effective option and now benefiting a number of schools. For interim or long term engagements!
