Development: helping to reshaping school identity

It is interesting to see how schools constantly need to evolve or reshape their identity and how development must work in conjunction with the often changing direction.
Over the years I have been directly involved with numerous examples of schools being aware of, and having to redefine themselves:
      – I was directly responsible for creating the Golf Academy at Loretto School in Edinburgh and now it is consistently being the number one school for golf
– LAS establishing a new and outstanding IB school at the Belle Epoque campus
– IS The Hague establishing itself as a true international school but under the Dutch education system
– Uppingham where it redefined itself as one of the outstanding co-ed boarding schools with tremendous financial support and involvement from alumni… and there are many more.
It’s been a privilege to be part of such change and yesterday with the Development Office at TASIS in Lugano, to see what has been achieved with parent and alumni support and an inspiring campus master plan that has had a long term vision. The work continues……
